Q. What is a PosterGully LapSkin?

A. A PosterGully LapSkin is a vinyl sticker that can be placed on laptops. Our Skins are made of premium vinyl with an amazing adhesive on the back designed to be removable without leaving any sticky goo behind and are finished with a protective laminate top coat.

Q. How do I decide what size to choose for my PosterGully LapSkin? I don't see my size in your dropdown list!

A. At the moment, we only have a few sizes. We’ll be adding more pretty soon.

You can choose one of our 2 generic sizes for your laptop (14.1", 15.6"). These generic skins will fit "most" laptops of that size but may require trimming for a perfect fit.

Q. How do I apply the PosterGully LapSkin to my device? I need instructions!

A. Our Laptop Skins are super easy to apply and instructions for application can be found below. They go on like a normal sticker but because they are removable, if you make a mistake, you can SLOWLY remove your PosterGully LapSkin and start again.

Here are the step-by-step instructions we recommend:

STEP 1: CLEAN IT! Wipe off all areas with a dry, soft cloth (don't use cleaning products or water) to remove excess dirt, oil, and other gross stuff that might interfere with the laptop skin.

STEP 2: PLAN IT! Although applying your PosterGully LapSkin isn't rocket science, you'll still want to plan it out! Look at your skin and make sure to pop out all of the itty-bitty bits that are cut outs for cameras, lens, vents, etc. Eyeball where your new skin will go and make sure you aren't covering any important buttons, slots, sensors or anything else that shouldn't be covered.

STEP 3: APPLY IT! Peel the skin off the sheet. Start at a flat corner of the device (ideally, one corner that has the trickiest stuff to line up like a camera slot, for example). Smooth out air bubbles and creases with your fingertips as you slowly apply the skin. Made a mistake? No worries! Slowly peel the skin up and start over again!

Q. How durable are PosterGully LapSkins?

A. Our Laptop Skins are designed to not only look great but protect the top of your laptop or device from minor dings and scratches.  All PosterGully LapSkins have a durable top coating that will protect the image and allow you to wipe off any dirt or spill. If you get your skin wet, simply wipe it off.  We have tested these under very tough conditions and are confident that they can hold up to normal handling.

Q. My laptop gets really hot. Will this affect my PosterGully LapSkin?

A. Your laptop skin will not be affected by the heat.  Many laptops run a little hot.  The majority of this heat is on the bottom of the laptop and studies have shown they can heat up to 130 degrees Fahrenheit.  Our laptop skins are designs for the top of your laptop and are guaranteed to hold up in temperatures up to 140 degrees.

Q. I have a logo on my laptop; will the PosterGully LapSkin cover it?

A. Yes, our skins will go over the logo on the top of your laptop without a problem.  We designed laptop skins to lie relatively flat.  You may see a subtle outline of the logo if it extrudes from the top of your laptop but it will look great. We don't trim around the logo but actually designed the product to go over the top of all logos...even the big ole Dell Logo. The only exception? Apple Products!

Q. How long will it take for me to get my order?

A. We produce all orders within 2-4 business days. You'll get a shipping confirmation email at the registered email address you entered for your order within 72 hours of placing the order.

Q. How does a PosterGully LapSkin come packaged?

A. All of our Laptop Skins are shipped in cardboard mailers. The skins are bubble wrapped and carefully packed between two specially made cardboard sheets so that they reach you in perfect condition. 

Q. What is your returns policy?

A. We hope that you will LOVE your new Laptop Skin but if the skin is damaged, wrong, or just not what you expected, we do accept returns within 5 business days of the date you received the item. Typically, we're more than happy to reprocess your order - we'll just need the specific information about how to make your order better, be it the image, the size, or something else! Send us an email at team@postergully.com with your order number and/or first and last name on the order and we will be happy to give you all the information you'll need to return your product or get it reprocessed!
