James Marshall "Jimi" Hendrix was an American musician and singer-songwriter. He is still widely considered to be the best electric guitarist in music history and one of the greatest musicians of his era even though he was only in the mainstream for three years. Jimi Hendrix tasted initial success in Europe with his group The Jimi Hendrix Experience and later achieved fame in the United States following his 1967 performance at the Monterey Pop Festival. He also headlined the iconic 1969 Woodstock Festival. Our personal Hendrix favourites include - Voodoo Child, Foxy Lay, All Along The Watchtower and Purple Haze.
